Trillian 0.721 — connect to PetalTXT
Trillian 0.721’s ICQ plugin speaks OSCAR. You can set a custom login host/port directly in the account settings.

Open Trillian. Right-click the tray icon (or use the main window menu) → Preferences or Manage Connections.

Open Preferences/Connections to access account settings. -
Add an ICQ connection (or select your existing ICQ entry and click Edit).

Add a new ICQ account or select an existing one to edit. -
Enter your UIN and Password, then continue to the advanced/server settings.

Make sure your UIN and password are correct before proceeding. -
Open the Advanced / Server section for that ICQ account and set:
- Server:
icq.petaltxt.me - Port:
5190 - TLS/SSL: Optional (enable only if available/needed for your build)

(Optional) Review any proxy/connection options. Most setups should use No Proxy.

Only configure a proxy if you know you need one. -
Save and connect. You should see the ICQ service go online.

Once connected, your ICQ status should show as Online.
Troubleshooting
- Verify Server =
icq.petaltxt.meand Port =5190. - Toggle the TLS/SSL option if your build behaves unexpectedly.
- Double-check your UIN and Password.
